I'm not going to apologize but saying, "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it!
This whole apologizing epidemic is to the point of beind ridiculous. Most recently are the banking and lending companies. I'm sorry doesn't fucking cut it. These people need to go to jail for crimes against humanity and fucking people out of owning their own homes (however, it is their fault too for not reading the fine print and rushing into a loan.) Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees apologized for using performance-enhancing drugs. The credibility of baseball has declined since the 1981 and hasn't fully recovered since. George W. Bush bringing into us a fictitious based on misinformation when Secretary of State Colin Powell was not entirely convinced about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and wanted more evidence. However, Powell should have stuck to his guns. Also Tom Daschle for tax evasion. Tom Daschle was not the greatest candidate even for such a mediocre appointee as Secretary of Health and Human Resources anyway.
Instead of pardoning these people with the "I'm sorry card" they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Tom Daschle lost his nomination but not put in jail for tax evasion. Nothing has happened to Alex Rodriguez thus far. A few of the banking and lending culprits have gone to jail but most have gotten away scott free. And George W. Bush left this country in a shitstorm and should be tried for crimes against humanity and fraud for the fraudulent wars we are in thanks to him. Maybe these guys have really great lawyers or diplomatic immunity but these men need to be brought to justice.
"I'm sorry" doesn't mean anything. It never has and it never will. "I'm sorry" is an excuse. It is what people say when they get caught. They are not sorry before they get caught with their hands in the cookie jar. People should be held accountable and punhished accordingly.
