I'm sorry but the Obama dog is ugly!
As all of you know I am an avid dog lover. I had a Doberman/Golden Retriever. A Newfoundland/Labrador Retriever and 7 (now 5) wonderful puppies whose father was Chow. I hate little toy dogs, wire-haired dogs, yappy dogs and curly-haired dogs.
The Obama's just got a puppy for the girls. a Portuguese water dog. If you haven't seen it, here's a picture:

Newt Gingrich said the Obama dog hype is all "stupid." Not hype but frankly, "Who cares?" Yes I love dogs but there are more pressing matters in this country....like the economy, the war and Cuba.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Who cares? Who cars about the Obama dog? Who cares about ANY presidents dog!?!?
What is this news? I have the answer. It is because people at home and standing in line at the grocery store watch the "news" and pick up and buy People magazine and other "informative" readings and we allow ourselves to be pulled in and hypnotized by non-sensical issues. Who gives a crap about the Obama dog when there are pirates ship-jacking cargo ships and taking hostages. This to me is more important than some ugly mut.
