Dubai's Plan Backfiring

When Dubai started their renaissance of building the tallest skyscrapers and man made islands it was because they only had 50 years of oil producing left. Now their plans seems to be backfiring. With this worldwide economic, it has caused much of the construction of Dubai to be halted or put on hold, specificall the Dubai World program. Recently, Dubai announced it is $14.2 billion in debt and needs $9.5 billion in government funding to help its funding.

In other news UFC 112 will be at the Ferrari World Concert Arena in Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on April 10th. Maybe this is part of their plan in funding but shocking the UFC is going to United Arab Emirates. I mean all the men are half naked and so are the women. What will the audience be like? Kind of a bizarre place to have an UFC event but what the hell? Would they "make" Arianny wear a burkini. This UFC will definitely be interesting to say the least. Until then.

Maybe that is one way they are going to fund, Dubai World.
